About NPTEL Courses on YouTube Project

NPTEL, in collaboration with YouTube, is providing another way that learners can access high-quality educational content through the Courses on YouTube. Started in September 2024, this initiative aims to convert existing NPTEL playlists into structured course formats, enhancing the learning experience for millions. As a pilot phase, 100 playlists have already been transformed into YouTube Courses, with more to follow in the coming months. This initiative ensures that learners can navigate our course contents from Youtube in an organized sequence, just as they would in a regular NPTEL course.

Students can now have a more engaging educational experience of NPTEL courses using YouTube app/site. Each course is designed to offer structured content, including video lectures, slides and supplementary file attachments (if available), providing a comprehensive learning experience. By following the same logical order as NPTEL courses, learners can grasp concepts effectively and stay engaged. Additionally, each video contains direct links to the corresponding NPTEL course page, granting access to latest certification details, and additional resources.
